From fall to spring, we have monthly meetings alternately on Monday mornings and Tuesday afternoons (so all can attend some meetings).

There are often guest speakers, local candidates, and we provide information on activities.

We have half a dozen well-attended member parties throughout the year, usually at a member’s home, monthly bunco at various homes, and are planning “field trips” in the future. We are always open to new ideas for socializing.

We choose various community projects to support and are always open to new ideas. Our primary support goes to Eloy Elementary School District’s Parent Resource Center (known by some as Angela’s Closet), which provides food, clothing, household goods, computer access and so much more to families in need. We have a dozen members involved in volunteering for a reading program in the elementary schools. We have been supporting school supply drives. Our March bake sale at the Robson Ranch craft fair has raised funds for the Parent Resource Center as well. We have an annual booth at the Eloy Fiestas Patrias in September, and have co-sponsored a kids’ activity as well, with the Democrats of Casa Grande and the Pinal County Democrats.

These vary from getting petitions for legislation signed, to getting candidates on the ballot, to assisting other, Democratic organizations in getting out the vote, to connecting members with any activity they wish to be involved with (phone calling, door to door, postcards, etc.). We do not engage in direct political fundraising as a club. We do hold candidate events and election years are very active and important.
